How to reach us by car:

Driving to Zakopane from the nearby airports.

Driving from Warsaw:
From Warsaw to Zakopane there are 401km.

Follow the directions:
Leave Warsaw and take E30 / 2 for 0.9km, after which turn left into Grójecka and exit Warsaw. Continue along Grójecka for 0.2km.
Then drive along: E77 / 7 for 283km. Pass by Warszaw-Okecie Airport.
Head towards Kraków and pass it by.
Then take route E77 / 7.
After 55km take route 47 and drive for 39km, passing by Nowy Targ.
After about 1.6km you should arrive at Zakopane.


Driving from Kraków:
From Krakow to Zakopane there are 105km.

Follow the directions:
Leave Kraków and drive for 9km.
Then take route E77 / 7.
After 55km take route 47.
Drive for 39km, passing by Nowy Targ.
After about 1.6km you should arrive at Zakopane.


Driving from Rzeszów:
From Rzeszów to Zakopane there are 259km.

Follow the directions:
Leave Rzeszów and drive for 3km.
Continue along E40 / 4 for 150km.
Pass by Tarnów and Kraków.
Later turn right into E40 / A4 and continue for 9.5km.
Afterwards take exit towards Chyzne Zakopane.
Drive along E77 / 7 for 56km, passing by Moligany.
Then take route 47 for 39km, passing by Nowy Targ.
After about 1.6km you should arrive at Zakopane.


Driving from Katowice:
From Katowice to Zakopane there are 178km.

Follow the directions:
Leave Katowice and drive for 2.5km.
Then take road 4 / 86 and continue for about 1.6km.
Turn right into E40 / A4 and drive for 77km, passing close to Sosnowiec.
Head towards Balice Kraków-Poludnie / Rzeszów 7 / Chyze Zakopane.
Afterwards take the exit towards for Chyzne Zakopane.
After you reach Kraków, continue along E77 / 7 for 56km.
Then take route 47 and drive for 39km, passing by Nowy Targ.
After about 1.6km you should arrive at Zakopane.


Driving from Poprad:
From Poprad to Zakopane there are 70km.

Follow the directions:
Leave Poprad and continue along route 67 for 7.5km.
Then turn left into route 540 and continue for 9km.
Then turn left into route 537 and drive for 6km.
Turn left into 67 / 960 and drive for 22km, after which you should arrive at the Polish boarder.
After entering Poland, continue moving along route 960 for 9km.
At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit and continue along 961 for 7km, passing Poronin.
Then take route 47 and after about 5km you should arrive at Zakopane.
From Berlin to Zakopane there are 697km, from Gdansk - 720km.

By train:
PKP Intercity, express and local trains stop at Zakopane and Kroków stations. There are also continuous taxi and bus connections to the individual parts of the town. Luggage transfer is by means of taxi. Zakopane train station is in the town centre. Taxis and buses are available regularly.


The nearest airports are Poprad (70km) and Krakow (105km).
